New Zealand Street ART – Dunedin.
This is one of the main reasons I love cities!
The street art.
Now anyone who knows me will be able to confirm I am terrible with names.
I can love a song or piece of artwork for YEARS and not know who created it.
So for the purpose of this post, I’m not going out of my way to find names as it’s something I never do, except for maybe a few. And a very special one.
When I was studying at University in Sheffield, there was no way you could miss this artist’s work! He was all over Sheffield and fantastic!
Shame on me for not finding out their name until now.
We wandered down the road and I spotted it!
HALFWAY across the planet and there was something I recognised from home!
This artist, Phlegm, may not be from Sheffield but currently resides there.
Anyway, it was more the experience of recognising the work of an artist that I had to work past nearly every day of Uni-life that made my heart leap!
Truly brightened up my day.
This is what I love about street art hunting, you’ll never know what you might find!
If you would like to find out more info about them, links will be at the bottom of the page.
